British Universities Transatlantic Exchange Association Award Winner

The BUTEX competition for my international poster design was published at their annual conference and published by Queen’s University to promote studying abroad.

Problem: Create a poster that is meaningful to international students.

Solution: Deliver a message that crosses international language barriers.

Impact: A design that sparks the interest of students globally.

The goal of my poster is to advocate for studying abroad to the new generation of millennials considering to gain independence, study creatively, and practice cultural humility. The structure of language is built up of symbols to express emotions and ideas. My thought process was to convey ideas of international experience to students using a commonly used form of communication—emojis. The title of this piece is called: Studying Abroad is so incredible…I cannot express it in words.
